The Missing Piece
Production design and Creative Direction for award winning film, The Missing Piece.
A fashion film directed by Hitaali Dharamshi, exploring an upcycled denim corset collection that fuses denim, silver, and leather. The story follows a man unraveling the mysteries of a house tied to disappearances in lower Manhattan, where he encounters five enigmatic women. The film’s visual language is deeply rooted in contrast—blending elements of thriller with the raw textures of the collection.
As the production designer, I meticulously crafted nine distinct sets that seamlessly integrate with the film’s genre and color palette. Deep reds heighten suspense and tension, while rich blues enhance the visual allure, complementing the denim-centric aesthetic. Through the interplay of light, shadow, and material textures, each set is designed to immerse the audience in a cinematic experience where fashion and storytelling converge.
