ABOUT ME
नमस्ते and Hello!
“Design creates culture, culture shapes values and values drive the future”
Back in my adolescence, these word’s didn’t make much sense to me, but today as a multidisciplinary designer, it guides my every stroke and drives my design philosophy.
My name is Palakh Khetrapal, a Senior at Parsons School of Design, and a versatile designer thriving on exploring diverse mediums across illustration, motion, 3D design, set design, art direction, packaging, and book design. My practice is deeply rooted in storytelling through visual language, and I find immense joy in collaborating with fellow creatives to bring our visions to life.
My work derives from a fusion of Indian culture and the dynamic energy of New York City. From intricate traditional crafts to the hustle and bustle of urban life, I weave these influences into my designs, creating projects that are both innovative and culturally resonant. My design journey has led me to exciting collaborations, with my work featured in esteemed publications such as GlenLux, Paper magazine, and Them Magazine. Each project I undertake is an opportunity for creativity and innovation, driving me to constantly push boundaries and explore new possibilities.
For me, design isn't just a profession—it's a way of life. I am dedicated to continuously honing my craft and making meaningful contributions to the creative industry.
